The University of the Incarnate Word will be participating in the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. March presented by the City of San Antonio on January 19th, 2026. UIW transportation will be provided on the Broadway Campus in front of the Convocation Center at 8:00 a.m. and departing at 8:45 a.m. UIW Transportation will be provided to and from the event location at its conclusion.

  • For personal vehicle instructions, logistic details are provided in the registration shifts below.
  •  Students will need to complete an indemnification/waiver form for participation as well as photo release (this will be part of the event registration).

Meet near the Mcdermott Convocation Center on the UIW-Broadway Campus.

This volunteer shift guarantees a seat on the UIW shuttle bus for roundtrip transportation. The departure time will be at 8:45 a.m. and the approximate arrival time back to UIW around 1 p.m.  The march will begin at 10 a.m.
