Feik School of Pharmacy

Co-curricular activities and experiences are designed to complement, augment, and/or advance what is learned in the formal didactic and experiential pharmacy curriculum (ACPE Guidance for Standards 2016). This reflects one of the core values of UIW mission tenet SERVICE by including a global perspective and an emphasis on social justice and community service.

About

The University of the Incarnate Word's Feik School of Pharmacy (FSOP) was founded in 2004 in recognition of the need to graduate a new generation of highly trained culturally-competent, caring pharmacists and patient advocates to serve communities across Texas and beyond, with a special emphasis on underserved populations. The Feik School of Pharmacy combines the best possible scientific grounding with unmatched clinical experience across many types of health care settings and diverse patient populations. The school hopes that as a result of its emphasis on the tenets of education, truth, faith, service, and innovation, that its graduates have a clear understanding of serving those that are less fortunate and most in need.
