I always enjoy coming to the San Antonio Airport on behalf of the San Antonio Food Bank helping migrant families from across Texas get to their boarding flight. I know that these people may be frightened and confused due to the language barrier and the unfamiliar location. My job is to guide these individuals and communicate with them in Spanish where they need to go at what time. I print out their boarding tickets and lead them to the General Boarding site. This specific time, A young lady and her family told me how grateful they were for my help. This really made feel good that my services were of great use to these families. I really enjoy volunteering at the airport and can't wait to come back!
