Join us for the 26th annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice on

Saturday, March 26, 2022.

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Within this hour, meet at the Plaza near the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center on 1327 Guadalupe St. Be sure to wear a UIW T-shirt. There will be a music and a rally before the march begins. Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be provided.

10 a.m. - March steps off at the intersection of Guadalupe & Brazos streets and ends at Hemisfair Plaza around noon. There is an afternoon program with music and entertainment that is optional.

UIW Students can receive up to 4 hours of Community Service for actively participating!



You may also earn additional service hours by donating canned food directly at The Ettling Center, Administration Building #158. Every 5 cans donated will equal 1 hour of community service. You may donate the cans before or after the March to receive additional service hours. PLEASE DO NOT BRING THE CANS DIRECTLY TO THE MARCH, THEY MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE ETTLING CENTER.



PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

§ What's the best way to get to and from the March? Take a FREE roundtrip bus ride from VIA.

§ Free parking at the Alamodome Lot B & C.

§ Free bus service to the front of the March starts at 8 a.m.

§ Bus picks you up at the end of the March, at Hemisfair Park in a marked designated area near the Tower of the Americas

§ Free bus service from Hemisfair Park until 3 p.m. back to the Alamodome
