About
The Campus Kitchen at the University of Kentucky simultaneously addresses hunger and food waste by recovering unused food from dining halls, groceries, restaurants, and farms and turning it into meals for local agencies.
At this recovery shift, volunteers will be recovering unused food from a local farmers market to turn into healthy meals. Due to COVID 19, volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from Lexington Farmers Market! At the start of your shift, please park near Goodyear tire and meet your shift captains by the GleanKY van. If you are having difficulty finding them, contact Cecilia at 1-847-533-7476.
