                                                          4th Food from the Heart Event

Our goal is to serve and help as many families as we can each event. Can we reach our goal of 2,000 families?  Do you want to help by volunteering??


Volunteers will be able to assist in multiple ways at event:

 ·        Food Stations-

   o   Volunteers will be placing packaged food in the trunks of clients' vehicles (no direct interaction)

·        Traffic Control-

   o   Volunteers will help manage the traffic flow for event making sure the safety of the clients and volunteers

·        Runners-

   o   Volunteers will help in any station or task as needed throughout the event

·        Intake-

   o   Volunteers will help collect the data needed from clients

 

NOTE: MASKS AND GLOVES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING EVENT TO STAY WITHIN MANDATED RESTRICTIONS FOR COVID-19.

Catholic Charities will provide gloves and masks to any volunteer that may need them and can be pick-up at the volunteer check-in table.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR SHIFT!

We will be monitoring how many volunteers we have on each shift to maintain the mandated restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic.

If you and your group want to assist in this event, please contact me to reserve the spot for your group. I will need the full names and emails of all in your group in order to reserve spot.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.

  2. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  3. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.  
Parking Details
Parking can be found on the side of St. Stephens church. Gate can be accessed through "A" Street.
