Provide one-on-one technology support to help seniors and neighbors living in affordable housing in the Portland area stay connected through technology.

DUTIES & ACTIVITIES:
-
Provide one-on-one technical support to individuals to help them access services and stay connected through technology

Meet with individuals either remotely over the phone or Zoom, or meet in person at Hollywood Senior Center or at individual residences in Portland

Troubleshoot technical support issues with participants and walk them through solutions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
-
Tech Savvy and skilled at using a variety of devices and platforms such as Zoom, PCs, tablets, iPhones, Android phones, and more.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to clearly communicate information over the phone

Ability to patiently support and teach individuals with limited technical knowledge

Commitment to the Community for Positive Aging’s mission and values, including promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion

Up-to-date on Covid-19 vaccination for in-person activities
TIME COMMITMENT: 1 to 4 hours per week
